Life goes on

I cranked out a couple more things during the last week once the sun came out and the chill left... so now I have lazyjacks... certainly not my final iteration of them, but close enough... and I figured out a way to fly flags independent of the main sail halyard. I tried to get an actual flag halyard up there, but for some reason couldn't get the line to go through the pulley. Ah well, it's working for now.
I also figured out a way that should stop the foresail furling from getting bound up - now all I need are the parts and I can try it. That probably won't happen until I rent a car again. Of course I should have thought of that while I had the rental car. But isn't that the way? I get a bunch of errands run and on the way back to the boat after returning the car, I think of at least 2 more things I could have done with the car. Now they have to wait at least a week
I didn't find the drawer fridge/freezer at the boat supply place Tuesday the 14th (went there since I had the car), so, since they wanted $750-$1500 for them, I bought one off Amazon for $250. It's arriving tomorrow. It may be 1/2 the size of theirs, but if I want that much storage, I'll buy another one... and still save $250! - Since it's Saturday now, I did indeed receive the drawer fridge/freezer and have it plugged in and testing. So far, I think it will work... but I also think there may be a bug in it's software because I can turn the temp to Farenheit, turn it waaaay down, and it will cool it down there, but then allow it to go back up to what I think that temp is in Celcius. I'm testing this theory now. It does seem to work fine if I set it in Celius, so I may have to convert to that.
